Our new Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is now up and running and provides a single point of access to early help and safeguarding services. This means that children, young people and their families in the borough will be even more protected because of additional partnership working across the statutory and voluntary services. The partners who make up the MASH are:
· Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead
· Thames Valley Police
· Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
· DASH (Domestic Abuse Stops Here) charity
· National Probation Service
The new hub will provide a multi-agency approach where the partners will gather and analyse all the relevant information to identify risks to children, young people an their families, and access the level of priority.
The MASH consists of 17 full time employees, all existing staff from a range of agencies.
